HAAPAJÄRVEN RAUHANYHDISTYS
ESITTELY HISTORIA TOIMINTAA OHJELMA KUVIA KALLION LEIRIKESKUS OKSAVAN RY LINKIT YHTEYSTIEDOT IN ENGLISH	The Haapajärvi congregation was founded in 1920.  With about 450 members, it is one of the largest congregations in the area.  People of all ages gather there to listen to the teachings of God's word, one's most precious possession.  Haapajärvi's RY is one of the 199 congregations associated with the SRK.  The SRK is the main organization leading the Conservative Laestadian movement in Finland.  The current facility was built in 1989.   It is located in the beautiful countryside with views of surrounding lakes.  Services are held every Sunday at 6:00 pm and once a month at 2:00 pm on Sundays.   They are translated into English once a month and upon request.  Everyone is welcome. There are also other various activities and programs planned throughout the year at the Haapajärvi RY and also in other nearby locations.  In the Haapajärvi area, there is another smaller congregation located in Oksava.  SRK's camp facility of Kallio is also located about 30 km from the city of Haapajärvi.
